Elementary YCDSB PA Day: Friday, June 28, 2024

In accordance with the Ministry of Education’s new Regulation 304, “School Year Calendar, Professional Activity Days,” the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) is providing the following summary of P.A. Day activities at the elementary level on Friday, June 28, 2024.

Friday, June 28, 2024 Staff are engaged in closing operations for the end of term.

Track & Field

Once again this year, we will have many SJN students from grades 4 through 8 representing our school Track & Field Meet at St Maximilian Kolbe CHS on Friday, June 14th! EQAO 2024

The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) is an independent provincial agency funded by the Government of Ontario. Every year, EQAO conducts province-wide assessments at key points in each student’s education and reports the results to school boards, schools, families and the public.  These assessments measure achievement of the Ontario Curriculum expectations in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics. Welcome to Kindergarten

We are excited to welcome our future St Justin, Martyr students this month! On Friday, May 31st our FDK teachers & Early Childhood Educators will welcome our new Year One students and their parents! We look forward to seeing their beautiful faces, making them feel welcome, and helping them transition into the two-year FDK Program.

Intermediate Hip Hop Dance

James Meltz, from “Stars For The Stage” has been working with our Intermediate students over the past few weeks and on Wednesday, May 15th at 1:00 p.m., they will be showcasing their talents! Details will be shared with our Intermediate parents via School Messenger.
