St. Justin Martyr School staff and students wore Blue and Yellow and Rocked our Mismatched Socks to raise awareness for W.D.S.D – World Down Syndrome Day.
We also participated in a virtual school wide WDSD Liturgy that was led by selected Grade 6 students.
W.D.S.D is acknowledged every year on March 21st a.k.a. 3-21 Day. for the symbolism of the extra copy of chromosome 21. Take time to appreciate and raise awareness about our unique brothers and sisters with Down Syndrome.
