OCTOBER Is International Walk to School Month (IWALK)
IWALK DAY is October 1st, 2025 and can be celebrated on any day in the month of October!
St. Justin Martyr School has selected: Monday, October 27th, 2025 as our IWALK – International Walk to School day.
International Walk to School Month (IWALK) is an annual event that takes place in October to raise awareness about the benefits of walking and other types of active transportation to get to and from school. It is a great opportunity for students, families and the school community to be part of a global event to celebrate the benefits of active transportation.
St. Justin Martyr staff and students walked laps around our playground, around our neighborhood and around our school.
It was a great day putting in our steps while enjoying God’s beautiful autumn weather and sunshine outdoors.
