On Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, the St. Justin Martyr School Luke 4:18 Committee together with their Lead Teachers: Ms. Comper-Swift, Ms. Paljug and Ms. Perrier, introduced and presented our new SJN Land Acknowledgement which was carefully created alongside our Indigenous community partner at YCDSB. Indigenous Inspirted Art Workshop – Grade 5s

It was a pleasure to invite and host Indigenous community partner, Kathy Morgan at St. Justin Martyr School on Thursday, March 12th.

Students were amazed at her stories and artifacts that she shared; and they were very enthusiastic about their creation of Indigenous Inspirted Dot Art wooden ornaments that they created.

 

World Down Syndrome Day

St. Justin Martyr School staff and students wore Blue and Yellow and Rocked our Mismatched Socks to raise awareness for W.D.S.D – World Down Syndrome Day.

We also participated in a virtual school wide WDSD Liturgy that was led by selected Grade 6 students.
