Traditionally before each Christmas season, SJN’s school community supports St. Justin Martyr
Parish to help families in need through the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP).
This cherished initiative reflects our shared commitment to living out the Gospel message of
compassion, generosity, and service to others.
Like last year, we invite your contribution of gift cards, which will be distributed to single mothers with
young children, seniors, and adults with disabilities — individuals and families who face ongoing financial
challenges and the rising cost of living. Your generosity will help ensure they can celebrate Christmas
with dignity, joy, and hope.
Program Details
Collection Period: Monday, December 1 st – Friday, December 5 th , 2025
Gift Card Suggestions from the Parish: President’s Choice or Walmart (in denominations of $25)
Important Notes
All gift cards will be donated to the SSVP through the Parish’s Caring and Sharing Program.
Please indicate the value of your gift card on its reverse side or on the slip attached to this letter.
This will assist the Parish/SSVP in distributing the gift cards to the recipients fairly and effectively.
Contributions of gift cards are not eligible for tax deductions.
We encourage you to take part in this meaningful act of giving. Last year, through your overwhelming
generosity, we were able to ease the burdens of many local families and extend care to those in Toronto.
With your continued support, we can once again bring the light of Christ to those who need it most.
