As we look forward to Halloween this Friday, October 31st, please be mindful of the following reminders:
- Costumes should be of simple design (to limit personal items being brought to school), when in doubt, think of a saint and encourage students to dress up as saints.
- Food TREATS are not to be shared at school.
- Masks should not be worn to school, as they present a safety risk, and some masks may even be quite scary to the younger students.
- Masks and/or props/weapon replicas associated with costumes should not be worn to school
- Parents and students should think creatively and critically when choosing a costume, ensuring and honouring the dignity of each human person.
- Students will have the opportunity to have a Halloween Dance to enjoy on October 31st
- Popcorn will be on sale for students to purchase for $2 at the Halloween Dance, if interested, proceeds will go towards Grade 8 initiatives.
THANK YOU & HAPPY HALLOWEEN
