Busy Minds Mindful Movement will be visiting St. Justin, Martyr CES on Thursday, January 17th and Friday, January 18th. This evidence-based youth enrichment program is designed to foster positive mental health and resiliency. It combines physical activity with the power of mindfulness, positive psychology and social-emotional learning techniques to create positive school communities. Through captivating movement workshops, Busy Minds Mindful Movement mission is to improve kids’ physical and mental well-being, one class at a time. In addition, Busy Minds Mindful Movement will also be offering a lunchtime Mindfulness Club. The Kids Mindfulness Club is developed to introduce children to the benefits of mindfulness starting at a young age. Through a variety of engaging activities and exercises, students will have the opportunity to explore the connection between their bodies and minds, develop greater self-awareness and learn strategies for managing stress and promoting well-being.
