It was 42 years ago that Terry Fox captivated Canadians with his determination, commitment and energy to find a cure for cancer. This year St. Justin Martyr will be commemorating the Marathon of Hope by participating in the Terry Fox School Run on Friday, September 30, 2022 (Inclement weather day scheduled for Monday, October 3, 2022). We will, as a school community, participate together as we run our Marathon of Hope here at St. Justin Martyr.
We are honoruing Terry’s memory by holding our annual fundraising event. We are kindly asking each student to donate $5 towards this initiative to help meet our school goal. Please note that all donations are to be made online and that tax receipts will be issued for donations $25 and higher. IMPORTANT: Please be sure to add your child’s name, grade & teacher when making your donation as we have amazing prizes to be won. A pizza lunch and movie afternoon will be awarded to the class that raises the most money and we will have a draw to raffle off 2 Terry Fox t-shirts.
