As we prepare for the coming of Jesus and the joys of the holiday season, it is important that we recognize our many blessings by giving back to those in need.
We will be contributing to Holiday Heroes by donating brand new toys this holiday season. The Luke 4:18 Social Justice Committee is asking the SJM community to support our Christmas initiative by making the simple contribution of A BRAND NEW TOY.
TOY DRIVE
This Holiday Season you can be a HERO! Every child deserves to
smile this holiday season. Let’s help those in need by donating
brand new toys with a focus on Teens and Tweens to the Holiday
Heroes Toy Drive.
GOAL: To fill our front foyer at St. Justin Martyr with toys for children in need.
WHO? Teens and Tweens (Ages 10-17)
HOW? Teachers will collect new unwrapped toys in their classrooms. Below are some examples of toys
needed:
● Board Games (Ages 10-17)
● Puzzles (Ages 10-17, 500-1000 piece)
● Jewelry sets
● Craft Sets (examples; string art, art sets, rainbow loom,window art, kinetic sand)
● Sports Equipment ( footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, badminton sets *(NO Hockey sticks or baseball
gloves))*
