ALL SAINTS & ALL SOULS DAY

On November 1, we will celebrate the feast of All Saints. The church wants us to learn about saints and follow their examples. We can try to copy their enthusiasm for God and the love they showed to the people around them. We are all members of the community who are trying to be faithful to God and we are all saintly people. When we were baptized, we were invited to become holy people who follow a holy God. On November 2, all Souls Day, we remember and pray for all who have died and we pray that one day all people will share the glory of the saints. Throughout the month of November, please remember to thank God for this harvest and ask God to provide enough for the poor of the world. We offer prayers of intercession for those who suffer most: the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the jobless, and are reminded to share the gifts that God gives us.
