Happy Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is one of the world’s biggest international holidays with over 2 billion people across the globe celebrating culture, customs, and traditions beginning on February 1st and running through to February 15th. This year is the Year of the Tiger, an animal attributed with courage and leadership. The overall message this year is to be prepared for anything to happen and that great things will occur if we don’t give up. We know what perseverance is all about here at SJN and we have no doubt that we will prosper and overcome our challenges when we work together. On February 1st, staff and students were invited to wear red and gold to celebrate this special time of year!  Students also enjoyed a variety of Lunar New Year activities planned by their teachers.   恭喜发财!
