Healthy eating and nutrition is connected with mental health and well-being and promotes academic success. The York Catholic District School Board supports the Ministry of Education’s Food and Beverage Policy and promotes healthy school nutrition environments.
During the month of December, our students and their families are gathering “Caring and Sharing” baskets for needy families in our community. These baskets of toys, clothing and gift cards will go a long way to help many families have a more joy-filled Christmas. Thanks to all, for your generosity and support for this important Christmas time initiative.
As part of our continued celebrations for Canada’s 150th anniversary, each class designed and completed 3D art, representing their thoughts and feelings on our country, Canada.
Between November 6th and 10th we will be having our annual fundraising week. During this week, students are asked to bring in donations from their families to help support many of the amazing initiatives that our Catholic School Council sponsors each week.
